Make a Grant
Make a Grant
Family Foundations, Corporate Foundations and Private Foundations are established to benefit society with mission-driven charitable giving while also receiving tax benefits. Some foundations are founded with family assets, some with corporate profits and more – they are as unique as the people you meet each day. If you would like to nominate Almost Home Kids to become a charitable beneficiary for a grant, please contact us for assistance. We are pleased to provide materials, offer guidance, and help complete a grant application.

Donor Advised Funds
With the growing popularity of Donor Advised Funds, we are thrilled to see so many of our supporters have a thoughtful plan for their philanthropic support. Giving through your own charitable account is a smart and powerful way to support the causes closest to your heart.
Making a grant using your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) is easy. Simply contact your Fund Manager or Advisor to direct a gift to the children at Almost Home Kids today. Most DAFs have a portal that allows you to log in to efficiently make a grant. We are already registered with Schwab, Fidelity, Vanguard, The Jewish Federation, Greater Horizons, and more. Simply reference our EIN# 36-3822010 to find Almost Home Kids. As always, we are available for questions or assistance in making your distribution.
As a friendly reminder, we cannot accept donor advised funds for the purchase of gala tickets; tables; event sponsorship, golf foursomes, silent auction items, raffles, etc. Contributions where there are no goods of services received in exchange do meet the qualifications for using a Donor Advised Fund. Our special events often include the option to “raise a paddle” or “fund a need”. You can use your DAF to make an outright contribution at one of our special events.
